Crafted from premium grade calf skins. The skins are combination tanned, drum dyed and gently dry milled for over 14 hours. The milling process shrinks the leather by about 30% creating a beautiful, shrunken grain pattern. Since the shrunken grain is achieved naturally, the grain pattern is varied with some areas having a smaller, tight grain pattern and some areas having a bolder grain appearance.
Appearance: Semi- matte, irregular Natural Shrunken Grain.
Feel: Semi dry and textured
Hand: Supple, soft and round
Ageing over time: The leather will get softer, colour may darken.
