Our Beurre Calf leather is Full grain and dyed with transparent aniline dyes that show the natural grain of the skin. This means that the leather can be made from only the very best calf skins that are carefully selected, to ensure that defects are kept to minimum. The leather has a beautiful fine grain, flat, matte appearance. The touch is unbelievably soft and smooth and a lovely round hand feel.
Appearance: Matte, Fine Natural Grain.
Feel: Buttery smooth
Hand: Supple, soft
Ageing over time: The colour will get deeper and darker and the leather will show nicks and scars.

The raw edge finish requires that the edges are sanded down and neatly painted by hand. This is an hours long process, where multiple coats of paint are applied to achieve the final finish.
